This is because of its safety features such as its improved high strength lock mechanism and very precise fittings so it cannot be easily opened using hand tools. Part of its security aspect is its tamper indicator that allows you to note invalid entry attempts. It also automatically blocks access after several failed attempts. This safe is constructed of 16-gauge steel but inside your valuables are safe because of its soft foam. It has a tamper proof, spring-loaded door, a noticeable audio and blinking LED low battery warning, an interior courtesy light and power connection jack as well as a mounting gear.

I started using the Gunvault GVB2000 Multi Vault Biometric Gun Safe as soon as I ordered it because I badly needed a safe to put my gun in so that my children won’t be able to play with it. I was convinced I needed a safe when I arrived from work one day and saw my son holding my gun. Good thing there was no ammo. Still, that is not the scene I wanted to see upon arriving home from work. So, I instantly bought this safe.

With this, I could say this is a nice safe and works well according to its purpose. I was able to keep my gun out of my children’s reach. I am also confident that even if my children happen to reach the safe, they wouldn’t be able to open it as this safe is definitely equipped with the best security features. They can play with the keypad but they will never be able to open the safe and that’s a good thing.

Programming The Code Was Easy!

I also didn’t have a hard time programming my fingerprints as well as installing the safe. I am also confident that my guns are protected inside the safe because of its comfortable foams. I have read several reviews about this safe, some of them negative, but as for my experience, there are no negative issues so far. And if there are, they are only minor and not a big deal. Reviews say the safe is hard to open, but it was extremely easy for me. They were also annoyed by the fact that the position of the fingers should be exact for the safe to recognize the print, but for me, this is a plus. This just means that the safe cannot be easily opened even if thieves happen to cut off your finger.

They also may be right about the thickness issue about this safe as it is not that thick compared to others, but for someone like me who only wants to keep my gun and my children safe; this works well and is worth it.
